Been living in Pretoria for a few years now and compared to the freestate, it's never been truly cold. If it doesn't burn from the cold when touching metal, it's not cold yet. Haven't even had to put on my proper jacket since I arrived here.

My wife tells me when she first moved here (from the UK) teachers were threatening to call child services on her parents because she never wore a jersey in winter.

2 years later and they were acclimatised.

I lived in the south of London and that wasn't cold either :p Don't think I ever even zipped up my jacket. Hell, I ate icecream in the middle of the winter - got some funny looks for that. Up in the north of England, it's a lot worse though.

Going on 10 years in Pretoria and still wearing shorts + very light jacket. This while people around me are bundled up to their ears. I hate visiting malls/banks in winter, feels like I am walking into a sauna.
 
Very overcast here in Durbs, the temp is slowly dropping.
 
13 Degrees here at work now. Winds picked up and it's raining.
 
Cold front hit PE overnight and the wind's whistling down Cape Road resulting in a nasty chill factor, supposed to be even colder tomorrow :(
 
19 now and dropping fast. Duvets and movies this weekend I think.
