Combining several MP3's into one ...

I've got a lecture on audio CD that I converted to MP3 for use on my iPod. The lecture was broken up in 12 seperate .cda files on the CD that converted into 12 seperate .mp3 files. How do I get the 12 MP3's into one (in the correct sequence)? Is there free software that can be used to do this?

Audacity can do it, but I can't remember how its importing works. You might have to copy/paste all the sections together.

Why not just leave them separate though?

Use the DOS copy command to join them all into one...
