Comet ISON to be visible late 2013

Not crazy, look around. Flooding, disease, volcanic activity, quakes. Yes all normal but record breaking weather tells you something is wrong in such a short space of time.

Let's not forget the sink holes. I am not saying for sure but the next few weeks will be interesting. Go find this on nasa's program for me please porch. Just see if it's there.

Look i am not saying the world is ending, as i said i am not crazy. 8 weeks and we will know if something is severely wrong or not. If we move into december unharmed then we get to see another xmas hahaha, then there will another ison coming and blah blah. Last year they made a big thing about 2012 and when it didn't happen people now are taking nothing seriously.

Weather should get far more extreme than it is at the moment. We should see volcano's exploding globally and fires will be unlike anything we have ever seen. California proved that one. Wow that fire was intense. Quakes i dunno but there should some fairly big quakes coming soon as well.

Look i am not crazy and believe this is going to happen porch. The nice thing is we are not talking years we are talking weeks, so we will see shortly.

Another ISON? What on earth is so "bad" about another ISON? It is a freaking comet. Nothing more, nothing less. :erm:

I just said another ison as in a another comet, chill out bro. I said in the next few weeks we will see if ison has any impact on our planet. You seem very angry today. Relax, almost game time. I never said it was bad did i? i just linked an article saying another ison as i don't recall the name of the new one so chill, breath and say thanx for the link to the new comet discovered. geez so early so angry.

OK that was harsh. You aren't crazy. You're just illogical and unscientific. All these weather fluctuations tell you is that weather can, and does fluctuate. Heck hardly a year goes by where we don't see horrific floods, volcanic eruptions, tsunamis and widespread property damage. That doesn't mean one particular set of these things is suddenly caused by a comet.

Besides, this comet is tiny. The moon is far larger. This comet has a diameter of 5km, the Moon has a diameter of 3474. The average distance between the Earth and the Moon is 384 403km while this comet, at its closest around Christmas, will be 64 200 000 km from Earth, let alone where it is now. I don't understand why you think the moon being so large and so close wouldn't cause problems but some pathetic little comet more than 2 orders of magnitude further away would cause dramatic weather changes.

It isn't logical.

Tell me how long is isons tail and what size is it please. Is ison a dirty snowball?

Have you got nasa eyes porch? awesome program but i can't find ison, perhaps i am doing something wrong. Perhaps with your logical scientific brain you can help me find it so we can track it. How long is isons tails porch?

Porch check this out, assuming you find this interesting. I don't know maybe you just believe what you read from nasa which is fine and nasa are more than liely right but i do enjoy exploring the unknown :D http://events.slooh.com/

The comet is nowhere near the mass of the Moon and nowhere near as close mate. The tail doesn't change that.

Also NASA eyes?... what? Astronomers are relatively good at measuring the masses of celestial bodies. Actually, relatively speaking, they're not just good, they're the best.

Come on killa, you just started behaving rationally and now you are throwing it all away again.

How exactly do you propose that the comet changes our weather in a fashion that means the Moon doesn't have an even greater effect?... what scientific reasoning is backing these claims?... it can't be gravity, if it was the Sun and Moon would have screwed us over long ago... what force is it killa?... where is your evidence?

I imagine this isn't so much "exploring the unknown" as it is unsubstantiated, unscientific horse schit. You appear to have just linked these 2 things with no thought given to how or why they would be linked. I don't understand how you allow your brain to do this.

Let's leave it for october. I found it on nasa eye. There is currently no data available on comet ison at this time. Just an animated rock.

So let us wait and see porch, don't want to get into a battle i will no doubt lose. I will wait and see. Seems amazing nasa eye has no data on the comet of the century but i guess that makes sense. So we will wait and see.

You can't just leave it for October. Even if our weather gets weirder as the comet approaches that still doesn't validate this "comet alters the weather" position.

Just trying to get you to give me the rationale behind how you can think that comet could possibly be influencing our weather.

To me it seems just plain kooky. Is it supposed to be magic or something that alters the weather and the moon doesn't have this magic?

October has nothing to do with planet earth so let's wait for october to witness and see what could happen.

I am not going argue about a comet that may or not be doing something, i am not going to argue that nasa know what could or might happen or how it might impact the sun.

We can witness it for ourselves in coming weeks, may be a dud, may be something new we learn although we know everything so what could we learn.

Wait for october and let's see how it interacts with the sun and mars.

You specifically mentioned the strange weather as though it relates to the comet. I just want to know on what basis you link the two and why you think that same principle doesn't apply to the sun and moon.

Surely you must have a rational basis upon which to think these things. They can't just come out of nowhere. So where do they come from?... give me your train of thought.

I notice Mars is involved too now. Please add that part of your train of thought too thanks.

I'm asking because I don't have the slightest clue how you came up with any of this. I find it thoroughly bonkers.

Indeed, post hoc ergo propter hoc.

Killa if you are getting this idea from some doomsday type site then understand most of that stuff is just fabricated lies. Remember 2012?

Well that is just a thought i had, you find it bonkers no doubt. Thinking an unknown object could be affecting our planet as impossible, why because we know everything. So porch you are right.

You know it all, nothing could affect this planet outside the planet so let's wait for october and see. Done now, you can reply but i will wait for this thing to pass mars before i comment any further. It should start breaking up fairly shortly based on the dirty outdated snowball nasa stuff and more than likely be a dud. Oct 1st we await. Nasa will be correct and it will be nothing more than your average dirty snowball.

You're saying the comet could affect our weather. I'm asking how. Do you not have an explanation?

You must have had a train of though to entertain these things. Perhaps you have a point. I need to see the argument first though before I make my mind up. I'm asking you to present it. Please.

At no point did I claim we know everything.

For example why would this thing affect Mars more than say Earth or the Moon or either of Mars' 2 moons? ... how would it affect it? What would be the nature of this interaction and what has humanity observed before that lends credence to this view?

I do but it would lead to me being called this and being that so i will leave it. Oct 1st we await. You assume it is a dirty snowball. You know it all so a comet can't affect us so you are correct.

Dirty snowball it is and planet not affected. We shall see.

If you have an explanation then provide it.

I want answers to things like this: why would this thing affect Mars more than say Earth or the Moon or either of Mars' 2 moons? ... how would it affect it? What would be the nature of this interaction and what has humanity observed before that lends credence to this view?

I want a good reason for entertaining your stance. As a rational human being you should be capable of providing such a reason.

I'm not watching an hour and a half long video. Just give me your train of thought. Shouldn't take more than a few small paragraphs at best. A far shorter period of time, and far less effort, than it has taken you to consistently avoid answering my queries up to this point.

How would the comet, from such a mammoth distance away, and being so very very tiny, influence our weather and geological activity? How is Mars now involved?... Why wouldn't its two moons have a greater influence than this comet?... why not our moon for that matter, why not the sun?

What is the nature of these forces and what previous observations lend credence to these views?

If all you've done is watched a youtube video and reached a conclusion from that then I think you've slipped back again killa. :(
