guys, where can i get the command and conquer:tiberium wars kane edition, crack from, and if so what do i do with it. because i downloaded soooooo many and it keeps coming up with the same file, "cnc3game.dat"

Well that file is the crack dude, copy it to the command and conquer installation directory, i think the folder sequence is, command and conquer, exe, retailexe, 1.0, paste the file here replacing the previous file and it should work, i cant remember the exact path and am a bit lazy to go check my pc now,

Yeah, that file is the crack, it's not the normal .exe that you find.
Just copy it to the right place, overwrite and play!

copy cnc3Game.dat to, program files\command and conquer\retailexe\1.0 replace the original cnc3game.dat file and i think a reboot is required for it to work.

Oh - the directory depend on what version it was... no idea if KW had patches though, never played it 
LOL, i find that funny since there are torrent/news server help threads started every second day..

Hmm... which is not illegal... Linux downloads ftw.
Strangely at one stage my Kane's edition (original!) didn't work until I used a crack, it just had an error every time I tried to launch it...
