I like the fact they brought back some old classic units like Titans and wolverines, used to love using that combo in the original Tiberium Sun and ya i agree Nod are pretty sucky compared to GDI and Scrin and that avatar thing is pretty useless imo compared to the mammoth tank/tripod thing.

The cool thing that came with the pre order though is they give you a beta key for Red Alert 3 which you're suppose to be able to download in September I think :)

i wonder if they'll keep all the old units like tanya :p im gonna have to replay red alert 2 to try remember what happened in that game,

Does anyone know how to get red alert 2 to work over network with windows XP?
 
I hope that Red Alert 3 has better AI. Even set to hard, opposing forces still use the same tactic of throwing x units of x type at you each time, even if it proves unsuccessful. Makes the gameplay pretty boring and repetitive...
 
I bought my copy today, R200 at Incredible Connection Canal Walk.

Nice Presell DVD with like, a bonus DVD (not very good quality DVD)

Free map with a code and the RA3 beta key.

Not to shabby.

On that note, I saw C&C SAGA, comes with C&C Decade and C&C TS 3 for R300... very nice price!

Ya, that R300 is a nice price. I'd pay that I reckon. :)

I have the Decade and TS3... but I so watned to buy it.

Even if it is just 'packaged' versions.
 
I wish it would just hurry up... I think EA are waiting for Starcraft II, you know, to maximise money because Starcraft II is as wanted as RA III.
 
Its a great expansion pack that give alot of extras for the R200 you pay. Yes i think it kinda sux that u can only play as nod but ill kick your ass with them :P. I think the game is focused more on multiplayer

There is a 'patch' for this, it used to be on the westwood FTP, i have the patch, its a tcp/ip patch, you copy the dll over, overwrite and it works. never used it though ;)

EDIT: Wait, it's for Red alert 1...
