It's expensive...but quite impressive. Win XP Media Center plus TV tuner built in with gigapocket software for recording.

Thanks for the replies.

What configuration would you recommend locally for R10 000 ? No monitor. Primary purpose - high end graphics / video editing / business apps ( no gaming )

will sony repair it here or will you have to ship it everytime there is a problem?

dual core amd 2 gigs of ram should do fine
