Communication Workers' Union versus Vodacom

Who's that guy from Government who said "The SWC 2010 will not be plagued by strikes and protests" name again? Does he realize that over the past few weeks there has been a strike or protest... every... single... week? Maybe not.

Being a contractor (employed through a labor broker) I'm grateful to have my job. Sure I'd love to be perm with all the benefits, but hey, I take what I can get. The fact that these people don't realise the fact that without labor brokers, THEY WOULDN'T HAVE A JOB, baffles me. Sure Vodacom would hire a bunch of them, but them the rest would be out on their ass, because it is a greater risk for the companies to hire perm with our labour laws. Take this strike for instance...all the more reason to use labor brokers, so you will have less to worry about...

Exactly, just because their type of labour broker exploits them doesn't mean all labour brokering should be banned.

If people only realized how badly the employment mentality hurt the nation there would be a lot less hijackings - errr I mean destruction of property - errr I mean strikes.
I own a business and the laws here keep me from hiring. I use contractors.
