Comolli

Vindicate him how? Kenny has stated that he decided on the transfer targets, Comolli was the one who negotiated. That would be vindication if the squad was playing well, but they're not.

Commoli has done a pretty **** job ever since he left Arsenal. Good scout but terrible at everything else. Dont see how it would vindicate Daglish.

I hear the Johan Cruyff will be replacing him..only time will tell

both of them were responsible for that bad fruit. one has fallen. who knows how long the other one has..

Just glad he has gone.

He didn't seem to do anything worthwhile at any of his positions. Some people will scream MODRIC and BALE! But he was also responsible for the signing of Gomez, and a few other spurs players that haven't set the world alight.

Seems like Louis van Gall and Cruyff are in the media spotlight at the moment. Lets just see what happens.

The american owners are clever i think their strategy is to hire either van Gall or Cruyff now in Comolli's place so that at the end of the season they can push King Kenny upstairs and whoever they hire (van Gall or Cruyff) as manager.

That would be sneaky but FSG operate like that. My question is still why the position is neccesary. You have a manager, surely he can choose his players

FSG confirmed that Kenny's job was safe. My problem is, it seems like Camolli became the scapegoat. I don't believe Kenny is absolutely faultless is this whole saga. I just want this season to end.

Me Too. Liverpool has become the laughing stock of the EPL. I still believe Kenny can get the job done but buying british is stupid

rafa is a prime example of what can go wrong when a manager has free reign...

the job is safe refrain is often heard before the chop in lots of cases...well fsg wanted this to come out after this weekend. who knows what else they are keeping under wraps...they have brilliant in turning the red sox around so they have experience..i think the difference in culture will take a period to full understand..

I still say Kenny's job isn't safe. Would be disastrous to say that before FA CUP semi.

but Rafa was probably the best Liverpool manager in the last 15 years.

I totally agree. He might even be the right man now. When parry left rafa was a kid in a candy store. Had carte blanche. A manager should manage. Yes he should have major input into transfer activity but someone else should be looking at the bigger picture as well. If the americans could have maintained better control we would be in a much better position. I dare say we might even have won it. After the year we ended second there was real hope. I only hope fsg can instigate a turnaround similar to the red sox. The low impact of their initial transfer investment might be keeping them up at night though. And that kind of frustration needs an outlet...
