Hey people. I have heard alot of good things about this site and registered just to ask this question.

Firstly, some background on the problem:
I am playing the F2P game, Warframe and it requires UDP ports 80,443,3960,3962 to be open. My Cell C dongle ( Huawei E1820 ) connected to my PC allows for this to happen, but, my Vodacom dongle (K4605) does not allow this.

I also have a Huawei D105 router that I bought from CellC with the dongle. I forwarded the ports on that thing to the required ones and it actually worked with the Cell C one.

The Problem:
Now, I have run out of data on the CellC. I now want to use my Vodacom data to play the game AND to have a wireless network set up.

Possible Solution:
I remove the simcard from the K4605 and place it in the E1820. The reason for this is that I read that the K4605 is not supported by the D105 router. I then need to enter the relevant data to allow this sim to connect to the vodacom network. And that is where i found I problem in my solution. I do not have these settings.
These include :
APN
Username/Password
Service Number

The request:
Can someone help me complete my solution or offer an alternative please?

Thank you

APN: internet
Number: *99#
Username and password blank.

You may need to apply for the unrestricted APN on Vodacom though.

Do you use VMB dashboard or plug&play interface? From specs:
Hybrid VMB dashboard: plug and play
It looks to me that it has HiLink Web interface. I read from other thread that HiLink has mini-router and blocks some ports.
If you dial a modem, or NDIS network card everything should be the same as with E1820.
