Got a triangle and a full sized spare (205) with my new Rio - no marie-biscuit wheel.
if i remember correctly you can drive 250km at 80km/h on a punctured runflat from BMW. you're going to be hard pressed to be 250km away from a town even in south africa, that town may not; however, have a spare tyreyeah BMW comes with run flats
but imagine in the middle of nowhere ...and you are more than 80km from the next town
what happens
then you need to call AA or BMW on call services and time gets wasted
where as a spare takes few minutes and you good to go
Its a "Kia" thing, same with my sportage. My spare is a full mag wheel, not a steel rim.
Yeah. A "Kia" thing. Must be why the KIA Soul seemingly also no longer comes with a spare tyre...
I don't think my audi or my 370z have a warning triangle :/
My Audi (2007 A4) has one, in the inside of the boot lid.
Mines the S3 .. so its a hatch, really don't recall seeing it.
Yep same here with the Cerato.Got a triangle and a full sized spare (205) with my new Rio - no marie-biscuit wheel.
I can't see runflats being an option in SA.
1. You can easily be 100km away from the nearest tyre replacement place in SA
2.Tyre's here are expensive, runflats even more expensive, I've heard if you drive on a runflat thats flat you have to throw it away afterwards.
3.Runflats are crap for comfort.
