Computer do not see memory stick

I got a 2 TB sea-gate memory stick. Upload files to it on a win 11 laptop, desktop "win10", do not see it. I move it to other usb ports, it sees other things but not the stick. It is not a new stick, but it works fine on the laptop.
Any workable advice would be appreciate. This Sea-gate was formatted on the laptop before using it.
 
Difficult to follow.

Just to check, you are talking about a flashdrive / external harddrive? Could you post the model number and a picture?
 
If you bought this cheap then it’s probably a fake.

Never heard of a 2TB Seagate flash drive.
 
What is it, a USB flash drive or a memory card?

What does Disk Management show?
 
Best thing to test memory sticks is to use a drifferent slot.

See if your morherboard supports that type of DDR and speed.

Maybe try a BIOS update.
 
OP it seems fake to me. How much you paid for it is all matters.

Thank you, this worked. This stick was never use on the desktop before.
Now I can see and use it.

I suspected the same, that's why I asked what Disk Management shows.
