Hi all.


Can anybody recommend a good computer repair shop in the JHB area?

Preferably Northern Suburbs and Sandton area.


I ideally do not want to deal with Incredible Corruption if I can avoid it.

ebe9, don't you have any friends who can fix your computer?

I'm sure someone here on myADSL can offer to fix your PC and charge you HALF what a computer shop will charge you! (if charge you at all)

Someone volunteer, help this oke! SHARE the IT love!

But I think at this point I am best off sticking to a reputable repair centre.

Does nobody have any suggestions?

And did get some ideas, but thus far what I have tried has not really worked.

Reason I just want to take it to somebody now is because I just want the problem diagnosed so I can get the parts and replace them.


Oh, and Northern suburb area being Northcliff/Cresta
 
The advantage of having multiple PC at home is when something's wrong you have another one to use as backup or switch components to find out what's the problem.....Don't you have some friends who would let you do that?

Boet, you don't specifically need to take it to a SHOP to have it fixed... check the phone book or yellow pages for the smaller places to fix your PC.
This way, you'll save on the repair, bigger places, like computer mania or incredible or whatever charge stupid prices to fix PC's.

Sometimes they change 1 thing and charge you for 2 hours... thus I say, take it to either a place smaller or a friend...

Hey, or do the next best thing... FORMAT > REINSTALL :D
