Computers vs. Playstation

Pay more and thats what you get. Im going to get my game a day it comes out - well not it telkom has anything to say about it . Im going to pay less And im not going to have a problem with No stock.

You're being a bit unrealistic as a Telkom Broadband user. Telkom has a lot to say about it and they do : They basiclly force ISP's to frequently reset your IP and that usually happens at 80% completion of the download. So I'll just pre order my hard copy of a game I really want and wait a day or 2 longer instead of wasting half my allowed data traffic on a game :)

also, thanks to the high speed bandwidth we have here, if you start downloading the game on the day of release, you might actually only finish it after the release of the hardcopies.

sad sad country, thanks to moklet

oh well, just wait till the PS3 introduces encryption which wont allow your game to be played anywhere else other than your own console.

a gift from the makers of music CD's which install malware when you play it on your PC... aka Sony. ;)

didnt you hear this is what Sony plans to do with the PS3? where have you been! :p

That's not going too happen, so how would you play your games on another person's console ? How would you rent games?
Sony stated this wouldn't happen, i'm 2 lazy 2 search this forum for the link, the myth was debunked by Sony themselves

i hope you are right.. but Sony is now going to struggle to keep up with the competition... they will loose $150 per PS3 sold even if it has a $500 tag...

GO M$! GO NINTENDO!

:p

Personally, after the Sony DRM debacle, the Blu-Ray debacle, The PSP firmware debacle, The DVD+R debacle, betamax, ATRAC, 8-track and the drivel music and movies they spew out, I'm having severe moral issues about whether to support the company.

For all MS's evils, they've always been pretty straight forward. (As an MS dev, I've had to deal with them quite closely and they really do want to do what's in everyones best interest, it's a case of defining what that is) From a game capability perspective, the 360 and PS3 are close enough that only a fanboy would care about the difference.

So for me the Next gen question is one of Revolution (VIVA!) or/and the 360.

Only problem is that the SE W900i is one hell of a cell phone . . . :p

D600 is SOOO 2005 ;)

I'm holding out for one of either:
SE w900i
Moto V3x
Nokia n80

Fallbacks are the Nokia n70 and SE W810i

Uh, no, no not at all, you see uh, the uh W900i is a Sony! and um it should, eh, integrate with the, uh Xb-- I mean the PS3, yeah that's it.
