computor problems or game server problem

I have a 600 radeon video card with 1GB memory but I get lots of pinging and I get booted off the game alot I also have soft high speed phone line internet using a speedstream modem can anyone help me out on how I can get ride of the pinging or atleast lower by half. Also punkbuster keeps on kicking me out saying I was voted out but I just got in the game how can I stop this from happening this is all for the game battlefeild 2. THANKS I APPRECIATE ANY HELP

This game is a buggy POS.

I also couldn't play last night coz of punkbuster, even with a manual PB update.

Thanks guys but that don't help me much I still need to know what to do about the pinging that gets me kicked out and how to play the game without punkbuster harrasing me.

What I do know is that you slould play on servers geographically closer to where you currenty are. eg sgs servers in South Africa that could solve you ping problem.

click 'connect to IP' and type in the Ip you want.

Also you say 'high speed phone line' do you mean ISDN? If so you will get higher pings as BF2 is only playable with ADSL really.

The SGS server will only kick you if you constantly ping over 600 (which is unplayable anyway)
