CONCERN OVER ZUMA GOD SQUAD

hahahahahaha @ enigma.......that is really funny. Carefull....some gay guys might find your "comb in sock" look hot and run after you....you have been WARNED :-)

Doubt it will happen unless the ANC get the support from other political parties to change the constitution.

I hope you're right. But it's worthwhile remembering that the Abortion and Gay Marriage laws were passed in spite of great opposition from ANC MPs.

Wedding ring? You seriously think that is going to shield you from them? You in for a surprize!! Just because a secretary has a wedding ring does not stop her straight boss from hitting on her....gay guys are not all that different from our straight counterparts. Can be just as persistant when it comes to chasing tail hehe :-)

@ grayston....i dont think this will actually happen. I would like to think that our constitution and the constitutional court will uphold the rights that is has granted....but it does leave a rather bad taste that a report is doing the rounds.

You'll see these stereotypical male centric things become more and more the norm. South Africa has a beautiful constitution that has found its way into first world countries. Pity we're not one.

As always, nothing will be done about this because no one can come to terms with a usual enemy to fight this.

The religious haters will simply keep complaining about Zuma's "gods" because they are too ignorant to understand this has nothing to do with religion. This has jackrolling and African masculinity written all over it.

Where does this come from? Well, it stems from two places. African male insecurity due to a history of oppression in apartheid that causes them to overcompensate in the most horrible ways. That is why South Africa's rape count is so high. Because twelve year old black boys have been bullied by their fourteen year old friends that they are not "men". They are uncircumcised babies and until they have raped a few women and tortured a few people, they are simply not men.

I've read studies where nine year old hijackers have been asked why they killed people. And they replied "Because he did not respect me as a man." Don't forget the legendary study that discovered 25% of Soweto's schoolboys thought gangraping was a "fun" sport.

Excuse me? What kind of torture are these kids going through at the hands of the people who should take care of them, to turn them into such monsters?

Whether this is also a result of lack of development in the poor black communities who have little enough entertainment that, combined with the inherent insecurity they harbour towards white people due to apartheid and a feeling of inferiority, they see proving their masculinity as the only way to gain respect in their community, is probably evident.

It has long been proven that people of poor communities have the highest birth rates, death rates and crime rates because they have nothing else to do but follow their carnal instincts. And the men must display their masculinity by making women their property. Very often, that is the reason why white women of less poor areas are tortured and raped. Because the rapists wanted to punish them for believing they were "better" than them.

South Africa's problem was always doomed to be one of insecurity and resentment. Apartheid may have been terrible, but the leaders are irresponsibly clinging to the past and perpetrating a feeling of insecurity and hatred. A feeling that must be suppressed by the black men it affects, by proving their masculinity by raping women, robbing and torturing households in armed gangs, roving through farms of the white people they have so hated for ages.

And let's not pretend; the general consensus with the jackroller-type men of South Africa is that gay males deserve to be strung up and burnt.

I wonder how much Rhema is donating to the ANC for this kinda clout. I guess those tithes are really paying off ;)

*sigh* Hi alan, I think you are trying to lie here with a logical fallacy by misrepresenting my position (so expected), as I dislike the ANC and Rhema equally.

You have spent way too much time in American Republican politics, its tainted your honesty.

Yeah sure Wiz none of you rabid leftists ever supported the ANC. Not even in the glory days of madiba. :erm:

I have never and will never support the ANC Alan. STOP LYING! Ive either always been an ID, DA or in last elections (with my provincial vote) COPE supporter (and COPE got my vote because I was in the EC at the time and they were the only viable alternative).

Stop lying dude.. you can do it.

Okay Wiz if you say so it must true :D.

I mean it's not like you support an extreme leftwing, corruption riddled, race baiting moron infested party before. Oh wait you're doing it right now :p

You really are falling off your horse there old chap. Lay off the brandy. Im not going to entertain your delusions in this thread with a stupid personal spat with you.

Why oh why are they allowing a church like Rhema to get involved in politics. Dangerous Dangerous Dangerous!!!! These people send a very cold chill down my spine.

Cause politics is where the money is and Ray wants to be in on the kill. Do you really think he does all that for Krishna or whoever is his god? I doubt it, it's self, self, my freaken bank account, you have the number, deposit. Amen.

I agree with you Balstrome. But how can government allow a church group get involved with making policies or revoking rights of a certain group? Surely they can not be that stupid? Is it not common sense nowadays that religion and government normally dont mix? Country run by religion = human rights suffer? Not true?

Reading through all the posts on this thread, I realised that there had to be a some kind dark side to our president, who's been all sugar and spice up till now. It all balances out - good and bad.
