So i have a 2010 Polo 1.6 Comfortline. I washed it and noticed the next day the drivers side headlight had condensation in it. It never had before - even when taken to a car wash?
I didnt wash the engine bay, just an external wash, and the only reason i opened the bonnet was to add a little more water to the windscreen washer fluid bottle. Now only my right headlamp is foggy.
What can i do?
I left the lights with high beams on for maybe 5-10min? but not much changed. the very outer edge just fogged up (see pic)

and the lowest part of the lens has a small amount of fluid in it?

See pics to get better idea.
What can I do to fix this (COMPLETE noob at all of this so bare with me)
I washed the car on saturday, and its monday and the condensation has only slightly improved, i expected it to be completely gone?
What to do?

My car was serviced last week Friday at Autohaus Centurion.

When I got the car back I saw the condensation in the headlamp - also the right side.

The service consultant told me that VW knows about this and they say it should clear up in 30 minutes when the lights are on while driving.

It was the first time ever that I've seen this.

It cleared up...

I don't know how to fix it, but mine cleared up.

Hope you sort it out.

OK, well ill try that - I read elsewhere that you should remove the rubber caps behind the bulbs and leave them open for a day or 2 (even while driving) to airate the lens and get rid of the air?

Ill try that if driving around doesnt work?

Yeah, it always gets better by itself, don't worry. I don't think the high humidity levels in the mornings is helping the situation much, but as soon as the air dries out it should be fine again.

So i removed the headlight and dried it out - the droplets just seemed to be getting bigger? - anyway took it out, dried it out with a hair dryer and replaced the dust caps - we shall see.
However, This was a pre-owned car, bought it from a VW master cars, never in an accident, 1 lady owner (not that it makes that much of a difference) - but its pretty mint. However, about 3 weeks after i got it i noticed a light on the dash that shows either one of the bulbs have gone> you know the yellow illuminated light bulb with the exclamation mark, it was lit up and i drove to the shops turned it off came back and the light was off, i never looked twice at it, but now with this whole condensation thing, it is back on, and again i drove the car around (was trying to evaporate the water) went to the shops, started the car again and it was gone, but its back on again....

What could it be?
(all light bulbs are working, all lights are working?)
See pics...
