Configure FTP access using 3G Card

I'm currentley setting up FTP access on my notebook and using my 3G card I can unfortunatley not get a IP as the address received is the "NAT" address from vodacom 196.207.32.232 has anyone successfully configured FTP access and how

You'll need to be on the unrestricted apn. Is running a FTP server the only solution for what you want to achieve (some type of file sharing, I'm guessing?)

It's always good, if you don't need to open ports into your PC.

Also, do you really want to put your quota of data at the mercy of someone else's usage? At R2 per megabyte if you exceed your bundle?

There has to be a better (safer) way

Dragonfly could be using a PPDB to avoid OOBR...
