That was not the answer, because if you actually use it you will see how it integrates very easily with github and it was supposed to that with bit bucket as well but bit bucket fell of the plate with developing the plugin. So we ended up writing our own plug in thanks to the ACTUAL help of developers that helps out and not wave dicks around.
Which learned me A LOT in the process so much so that I question some of the ability some posters in this thread try to convy...
Well that's the truth isn't it?
I mean no offense, but I came here and did my utmost to type the OP in which I explains in depth how I ended up here and I was blasted with k@k troll replies from the go.
And no matter how we spin this, I did not get any help from the sarcastic replies here, I had to phone a friend I know and he told me to quickly join a irc room then they will help me out.
It was really friendly and I'm sorry but if they all watched this thread and... Yea let's just say there is a reason top end guys don't hand out here.
Point is, they helped and offered real a solution here I was trolled and told irrelevant stuff.
Jeepers Creepers.
I suggest reading comprehension.
Nowhere did I mention using a plugin for PHPStorm.
What I did say was the combination of CLI and PHPStorm work for me and would work for you to.
That was not the answer, because if you actually use it
I use PHPStorm and I use what is described in the text you were replying to (cli then PHPstorm) to integrate PHPStorm and Bitbucket.
bit bucket fell of the plate with developing the plugin.
There was no mention of using a plugin.
Re-read and comprehend.
Which all goes back to my post from earlier
which you said was ramblings
Except you probably haven't read the other 28 to 37 threads where Thor asks something, which can be found with about 5 minutes of googling, and get's a couple of similar answers but doesn't like them so he skips them and complains that no-one is helping him or that it can't be done.
Maybe if you read a couple of those threads you may understand where the attitude in this one is coming from..
.
backed up by a very similar observation by Hamster:
So in summary:
Asks help to configure plugin
Given advice on alternative
Not happy, calls everybody substandard...
I am dissapoint
Recap.
The first couple of answers gave you a solution:
Use the CLI, PHPStorm auto detects the Git setup in your project and from there on you can use git via PHPStorm.
There was no mention of any plugin.
I think you failed to read and comprehend correctly.
Or select one of the last 2 quites above and apply.
Ps. Good job on sharing the solution so others can also learn.
