Hi all,

I am finally looking to move on from my Google Nexus 6 and get a 5x. Has anyone bought from Connected Devices:-

R5,099 for a 5x. Looks like a decent deal. I will also be selling my 32GB Nexus 6. It is in almost perfect condition, looks brand new. I was thinking of selling it for R3k. Does that sound like a fair price. Thanks in advance guys

I believe in the Oneplus 3T thread someone mentioned they used Connecteddevices. Head over there and have a look.

Yeah, it is a great price. There is not much info. on the site as to whether it is the GSM/HSPA/4G version (as in compatible with our networks here in SA). Also, does the R3,999 include shipping or is there another R1,800 on top of the price, making it R5,799

From the shipping tab:

"We offer free insured shipping for all products over R1,000 to main and regional areas only. If you live in a remote area, additional fees (up to R199 may apply)."

Looks like they don't drop ship. They probably import the phone and pay duties, then ship to the customer.

There is a contact number on the website. Best is to call them and confirm if any additional or shipping charges apply.

I can confirm they are legitimate. I ordered a Nexus 5X from them in early January 2017. I then found out about the possible bootloop issues those are facing and i contacted them to change my order to a Moto X Style which they did without an issue. I received my phone a few weeks later (it was a special import). The price you see on the website is the final price you pay (ie. including customs).

Sorry this reply came so late. only stumbled on this post now.
