I'm on rain 4g R250 uncapped off peak. I find that I can only use the internet on one device at a time. If I try to use it on two then the network either stops working for both or it services one device then the next. I can't use them concurrently. I'm using a tplink m7300. Does anyone know of a solution to this?

Hi Donco,

Please PM your number as I'm not sure about the above device but will get more information and call you to test any solution that I might find.

Have you tried your rain sim card in your phone using it as a HotSpot ? does it give you the same limitation of only supplying one device at a time with the internet ?

thanks

What speeds do you get when using it with one device?
If the speed is not good you would struggle to use the network with multiple devices

My speed test I did now.
Ping: 25ms
Download: 1.52Mbps
Upload: 26.75Mbps

I usually can expect somewhere around 230kbps. It does go higher but usually 230kbps.

If its usually 230kps then its just a matter of bad speed.
You will not be able to use multiple devices with those speeds because the bandwidth available needs to be shared between your connected devices. 1.52mbps should be able to connect the two devices if you are just browsing. You will not be able to do any bandwidth intensive tasks like streaming on both devices simultaneously.
For example a single sd stream on netflix will consume the entire bandwidth(1.52mbps) available to you on one device alone.
