Hi

I would to know if anyone knows how to connect my samsung d500 which is connected to my pc via bluetooth, so that the samsung uses the pc's adsl connection instead of trying to connect on it's own.. any software that can do this??

Thanks

I'm not sure I see the point of this. Your Samsung can connect to the Internet via GPRS, HSCSD or 3G, which are completely different communication technologies from ADSL. If I understand you correctly, you want your phone to connect to the Internet via your PC's ADSL connection. Notwithstanding the fact that I don't think it can be done, why would you want to do this?

Only possible thing I can think of, is that you can download say ring-tones or whatever from a wap-site without using the bit more expensive GPRS. Alternative is if you use say an instant messaging service like Mxit on your phone, you could connect via your ADSL and stay connected permanently for cheaper.

Perhaps he wants to sit on the 'throne' and browse the internet... :D

I know the Nokia Series 60 phones can do this, not sure about the Samsungs though.

Just like ebendl said, it's cheaper than having to pay cause u have a permanent connection to the net, why pay again for another one for ur cell when all u want are ringtones etc. thanks tho guys

I think i need to get me a symbian os ph, so i surf on my 'throne'
