Hi Guys

I bought a 6-Series Samsung LED TV and this is what I am looking to do.

Ideally I want to buy a Time Capsule and have it connected to my TV (either wirelessly or USB I dont mind) so that my tv is able to access the TC drive to play movies off. I have done some research and I'm not sure if that is even possible as the TC seems to be rather difficult to use.

Currently if I plug an external HDD directly into my TV I am able to play the movies off it, I don't see why it would be any different using the TC, but if anyone has any information it would be appreciated.

Use an AppleTV. They go for about a grand. The TC drive is probably formatted as HFS+ and your TV is unlikely to understand anything beyond FAT32. You could reformat the TC drive to FAT32, but then forget about using it with Time Machine, which is what it was designed for in the first place.

I have a 3 TB HD plugged into my Airport Extreme, which give me functionally the same thing as a Time Capsule, with my iTunes collection migrated to that disk, and it plays over the AppleTV, no problems. Of course that implies that iTunes must always be running.
