Connecting to two ISP's with one router

Hi

I have a telkom Mega 105WR, and would like to connect to two different ISP's over one ADSL line, using one router.

I would also like to route a certain IP range(Lets say 192.168.1.20 through .60) to use one connection, and another range (.100 to .150) to use the other connection.

I currently do this with two routers, 2 lines, and specifying defferent gateways for the ranges above.

Can anyone please assist with this.

Im not sure about the settings the different ranges but you could just put your router into half-bridged/bridged mode and make each PC dial up on there own (via PPPoE).

That sounds complicated, rather just get a load balancing router

Problem with that is the limit on 5 concurrent connections from the ISP.

Get two old Pc's to act as proxies, set your router up in bridge mode. Dial out to a different ISP from each proxy. Then point the drifferent pc's on your network to the respective proxy servers.

I will be in trouble again

Not sure about your Mega -- but -- Cisco 800 series routers CAN do this for you. ( doing it at the moment on an 877 )

As long as the Cisco can run the latest IOS which allows multiple PPPoE clients you can run three four or five different ISP's on One Router / One ADSL line.

( Look around -- used / re-furb units are NOT expensive )

IIRC you can do source based routing with the cisco, which would solve ur issue if you decide to use this solution..

Wellll then your problem is routing

I would think -- look for somewhere on the router where there is a section for "Static-Routes"

Look in the manual -- look on Google

Either the Mega CAN do what you want -- or -- it cannot

IF it can then , there MUST be a way to do this.
