connecting tv box with dstv and computer desktop

Hi all, I just recently bought a TV box of astrum tv200. And a dstv decoder which am failing to connect. How can I connect the three to work , I tried a vga split cable and it does not work as when I connect the output from TV box to the vga split cable it disconnect my lcd while it's plugged in

Not sure exactly what you are trying to do but you need a switch of some sorts.. that switches from input to input..

Hi @evident i know it is a few months later .. however did you come right ? from what i can see you can use that astrum tv200 to connect your dual view/extraview/second decoder's coax/rf out that nomally runs into an older tv with RF in (Antenna) and get RCA out witch you could then run into your tv's rcain or vcr rca in or analogue capture card.

Does it work that way ? have you tried ?
