connection dies

Hey friends

i need a few 2cents here...


i've got 3/5 signal strength....in a 3g zone... my connection sometimes (if i leave laptop online for 15-30min it does happen @ random in that time) just dies..

the connection status indicator shows the connection is stil active..the vodafone software also has the mobile icon as active..
but no data

u can ping/tracert anything..nothing happens..
u have 2 disconnect everything and reconnect..

my external black antenna is lying in the window for extra signal - so i don't think its the location.

suggestions?

must just maybe add that this is happening for the last day...last week it was fine....

i'll give it some slack , then fire up the techs at vodacom

Sounds suspiciously like the problem we had a few weeks ago. Try and run a ping in the background and see if it makes a difference.
