Connectivity advice needed....please

Let me start by saying that till a few weeks ago I had great connectivity and speed from my 4mbps adsl line. I am with Webafrica as an ISP and have both shaped and unshaped accounts. I have recently been experiencing an unacceptable amount of line dropping issues. I had Telkom out as there was noise on the line and they where not able to conclusively improve it. I have a Dlink router and use Vista as an OS. What should I do next to improve my situation. I need a steady connection to upload files to my server that I do work on so line dropping is creating corruption of files.
Do I get Telkom out again or get my ISP to look at it where next?

That sounds like a Telkom issue, the ISP only gets involved after you have a working ADSL line. Perhaps ask Telkom to drop you to a 1/2MB profile to increase stability

Have logged a fault again now we wait.....I have a fax on that line should that have an effect it has always been on the line before I had issues?
