Connectivity inhibiting access: Gates

More talk as if there isn't enough hot air...

Looks like everybody loves to talk about the high bandwidth costs, but are not willing to do anything about it...

Well, Gate's is helping the fight, even if it is to make MS more money.... :)

It beats me why there seem to be anti-Gates sentiments from people around the forum.

Sure - he's saying things WE know regarding access being prohibitive - but don't you think that those in Governments will LISTEN if someone of his stature says it as well?

So who cares if he copied Apple to get ahead, or that Windows has security flaws occasionally? Fact is that Bill Gates knows what he's talking about, and if our Governments know that then they could be prompted to take the stuffing out of their ears, listen to what he's saying, and DO something about it.

And who cares if MS makes money out of all this? If they can bring cheap connectivity to people at a cheap price - GOOD FOR THEM, GOOD FOR EVERYONE, let them add to their fortune!

nevermind that he could be the devil himself ;)
but yeah if he can make telkom give the people cheap and very fast internet at low prices... i might deal!
