Hi All

Got a remote site.

We're using Teamviewer running on Win7 to do a few remote administrative tasks.

Up until this morning all was fine, then all of a sudden you have to disconnect the LAN before you're able to remote in with Teamviewer.

And when you plug the LAN cable back in, Teamviewer won't connect anymore.

Any ideas?

Software used to manage the connection is Vodafone Mobile version 10.1.108.29105

Free version of Teamviewer?

If so it might be disconnected because it thinks you are using it commercially.

Try www.join.me and see if you get a similar result?

Lan might be running lower metric than the 3g,does the LAN have any kind of internet connectivity? If so Teamviewer might be using it as the initial connection to create an ID

This is possible as the LAN had a gateway IP added to its properties.

I removed the gateway, but it made no difference. Will check again 2morrow.

Any idea on how to change the metric for a gateway so that the 3g will get preference above the LAN?

The remote site is it part of your wan ? or is just joe soaps pc ?

Check under options then under one of the tabs there is an option to enable - enable all - disable incoming lan connections just check what setting is on there , that may be the cause of it , just change it to the one that works for you

Hope this helps :>

What error message to you get from tmv ? is it a licensed ?
