Consoles specials thread

A BIG thanks to you all guys. i got one @ Reggies, menlyn. Last one they had. Looks great on my Samsung 40''. The TVs remote even works on the PS3 playing DVDs. (Using Samsung's Anynet function)

so it's only Musica that has PS3 Slim bundles at the mo?
Not too keen on the asassins creed / splinter cell games that come with the Musica bundle
 
So, Can I pressume that PS3 Slim 120Gb at R3399 is a good price?
 
guys sorry for going a bit off topic but the general views ive been getting from ppl and here on the forums is that they ALL want a Ps3 since the price cut/slim release.

i know the new Xbox's dont give rrod anymore but why is no one interested in getting an elite bundle or package? it seems everyone wants PS3 including me
 
Maybe most of the people here already have an Xbox.....?

I'm considering a PS3 slim, since the price is MUCH more inline with what I think its worth as a gaming Console... the R5k figure was WAY out of line for a gaming console IMO

PS3 is much better value for money imo. If your not a heavy gamer who cares about exclusives then I cant see why you would go for an Xbox over a PS3.

Think the only reason the xbox sold so many more units was because many people like myself(non hardcore gamers) were not prepared to fork out R4500 - R5000 for a PS3.
R3999 is MUCH better :)
I'm just waiting for a FIFA10 bundle:cool:

:eek: ME 2! you think its coming out soon because i cant wait another month with no footy
 
R4000 is just still too much for a console for me. And I'm still very happy with my xbox and Wii. Only game I really want to play on the PS3, is Uncharted 2. R4000 doesn't justify that for me.
