Consumers dont care about 3DTV

I'm still loving my 3D TV and I've had it since May this year. Some movies are really epic in 3D, but some like Green Hornet and Thor are bad 2D to 3D conversions. I've got 28 3D movies, including 16 on blu-ray and 5 3D documentaries, and the 'novelty' hasn't worn off. It is way more entertaining than a normal 2D movie.

Gaming in 3D didn't interest me for long. It's much harder to play with the extra dimension, because your brain has to work harder and it gets tiring. I played Crysis 2 and Black Ops in 3D. With gaming the resolution is effectively halved so at 1080P you are playing a stretched 960x1080 whereas 3D blu-rays are proper 1080P 3D.

Got a 3D tv glasses the works but don't see the point. Everything just two colours no 3D and people are looking at me funny when walking on the beach with the cool shades

lmao, you telling us you got those blue and red glasses, well done, I'm sure besides no 3D it can help by giving you a weird perspective on life :D

^^^^^I call a movie a good conversion when the guy sitting the back of the movie theater with the camera manage to sit still for 90 minutes
Gotta love pirate bay

If I had to buy one, then I'll have to upgrade my HTPC and amp as well to play 3D so way too expensive.
Gimmick at best.
Also rather go for thinner LED

I Also don't really care about 3d I will rather get a bigger led tv for the same price. It just hurts my eyes after a while the 3d.

I consider myself a tech lover and even I have no interest in 3d. Every 20 years somebody says 3d is the latest and greatest and it inevitably flops. What is different this time?
