Contract to Prepaid Failed - Sim not inactive.

Contract to Prepaid Failed - Sim inactive.

Hi Guys,

I recently cancelled my contract and requested it to be converted to Prepaid, Last night I noticed my iPhone saying no service, restarted the phone 5 times etc etc, tried dialling 111 from my wifes phone but couldn't get through to any number.

Phoned this morning and was told that my contract to prepaid conversion failed, I need to speak to the contract department, phoned them and they told me I need to speak to the prepaid department which I already spoke to and was told to speak to the contract department.

Can anyone assist, my phone is now a dead brick.

What is the number in question?
 
Just a general question/comment regarding this:

I am of the understanding that you cannot use the same SIM either way. Wouldn't you have to get a new SIM for the same number?

You can make use of the same sim
