Converting contract airtime to data

Bit of an old thread..will try my luck anyway

Got over R1100 topup airtime on my mtn contract which i will be cancelling end of August. I see it is not possible to convert it to data or give it to someone. I do not want to just let mtn take it, so does anyone know of charities that use sms donations?

Simfy only allows paying for one month at a time. Longer durations are only via credit card payments etc

*130*745# to move it to a off load it into your smartcall account. You can then buy prepaid airtime/data or electricity with it.

Its not cheap though. R14 will cost you R25 on you MTN Top Up contract. Pretty cool in a way even though its more expensive. Better then letting it go to waste and at least get something for it.

Just noticed that the BOKU option now appears in the SWTOR payment options.

Unfortunately, I get this error when I try to order through it:

"An error has occurred while trying to process your request. Please, try again later."

Anyone play SWTOR around here?

I assume you also lose all your airtime when upgrading from old Anytime to a new MyChoice contract?

Thats what i assumed, I upgraded 2 months or so ago however i've been using up my old anytime Rand value (got about R70 left) while still collecting My choice minutes (got like a few hours)
