Converting images from a Mac PC

Hello to all.

I have a friend that sent me some photographs on a 16GB (sandisk cruzer 16 GB) flash drive from Australia.

The problem is that she has a Mac and XP sees the flash drive as an unformatted blank storage device. I don't know anyone with a Mac.

Any ideas?
