Cooking versus Eating Out versus Takeaways

Most people probably had to curb their expenses with the economy being what it is at the moment.

I normally love cooking when I get the chance.
We eat out about 2 to 4 times a month.
We have a tradition of eating Nandos for Saturday lunch.




So for you / your family, what would be the ratio of Cooking versus Eating Out versus Takeaways?

I'm about 3-4 times a week when it comes to take aways.

Weekdays = sober ie. safe to cook.

weekends = not sober, order-in safer.

Eat out = $$ = special occasions.

Eating home made is usually the best, but making the meal can be such a slep.
But Romans and KFC are quite nice.

Pretty much the same here, except I dont do the cooking

Likewise.

There is also another reason I prefer home cooking.
Takeaways to me has lost its appeal and in most cases the food is not anything to write home about.

In these hard times, takeaways are really an expense that one can do without.

Usually, one night we stay in and cook, the next night we go out for dinner. Takeaways occasionally. Sometimes I grab a takeaway if I'm out running around during the day by my self.
