I have 2 x 9kg installed outside. The guy who did it told me it was required. He was wrong maybe, but better safe than sorry.
My gas installer guy told me that only gas cylinders over 9kg must be installed outside with the proper fixed lines and shutoffs and need a complience certificate. 9kg and smaller cylinders can be stored in a kitchen cupboard with flexible hose to the cooker. I hope he didn't lie to me.
Thats sounds about right.
Mine is 9kg's and I have a compliance certificate (this is a brand new apartment). All the apartments in this complex have theirs in the kitchen cupboard.
nope that is about right we have a 9kg in the kitchen but it has to be installed close to a window or
air vent and as far away from electrical fixtures as possible
