Cool Ideas - No Openserve love

My Telkom fibre line was cancelled on the 10th of September, and ordered a new Cool Ideas Openserve line on the same day.

It's been 3 weeks without even a phone call from Openserve to install the new line.

Does it normally take this long? Being without fixed-line internet is driving my head in, and costing a shyte load of money.

Could be a Cape Town thing, or a not-PE thing. My installation was lightning quick and the technician was super cool.

Feeling very loved with Cool Ideas and Openserve personally. Definitely keep pestering Cool Ideas to chase things up. I doubt any other ISP can provide their level of network quality at regular consumer prices.

Unfortunately lines cant be transferred from Telkom ISP to any other provider for some or other reason, they need to be cancelled and re-applied for. Give me your application ticket number and I'll follow up.

Seems I was the fool when typing my cellphone number in the application form. Seems Openserve have been trying to get hold of me for a while. /facepalm.

All sorted now.
