Cool Server Names

Here is your chance to suggest a cool server name for my server I'm building up.

Everyone who has a 2nd PC or a server or whatever has a cool name for it, I have a few names in my head but as per usual, I wanted to include you guys in this.

Go for it!
Suggest anything, just don't be daft please.

My last server name was "Prometheous" (Spelling!)

I'll be putting all my 'stuff' on there, use it for storage of all my important stuff... at some point, i wanna get a UPS for the SERVER ONLY.

To call a box ""prometheus" is to invite punishment from "zeus" ..so don't do that! That said, 1nsane! is right in that the choosing of a name largely depends on what its task is to be, from there you go with your mythos/realm and find something that suits.

Just continue with the Greek Gods - Orion, Zeus, Poseidon, Hades....

You jest but I have named my laptop "pong" - it's a regular fave of mine. . As to which mythos from which to choose a name, there are several choices other than the Greeks you know!

For eg: at my office I've got the devices around the network largely going with Roman but the guy I work with has a thing for Norse names. Egyptian names should offer good choices too...
