I have switch to Fibre. Can I still use my old remote cordless handsets to make calls? If not, what handsets do you recommend? I find the Vobi app very unstable.

As long as Telkom has activated that line and your router supports it then yes. If not then you will need to switch to an IP provider and may need a SIP phone.

The DLink G2562 router from Telkom supports calls if Telkom activated it for you

Yes

You get Voip adaptors that allow plugging an analogue handset into them and then dial out on a Voip account, not cheap though R500+.

You can get it from scoop Distribution its called an"ATA"

I think +\- R500,

Why not get yourself the Yealink W60p set and add extra handsets, personally I don’t like all this conversions, get VoIP Dect phones, less stuff that can go wrong.
