Why do you not just get a VOIP capable cordless phone? You can then link your current handsets to the new base station via DECT registration process- will work for the calling piece.
Advantage is that you should be able to load a number of SIP providers (eg I have my regular SIP provider (for R85/month line rental) as well as a FreshPhone account loaded).
I bought my Siemens VOIP cordless from Cool Ideas for R1750 - think they have the Yealink version for same price. Or look at any other ISP....
