Has anyone here tried to take a MacBook or iPhone that was bought internationally to the iStore for warranty/repairs?
What was the outcome?
Back when the iPhone 5 came out I bought a couple of them from BestBuy in the USA on launch weekend, and one of them started giving hassles with the home button a couple of months in. The iStore in Gateway didn't want to touch the phone saying it wasn't bought from an Apple store, and didn't want to touch it.
Just curious if that is actually still the process, or if the international warranty doesn't mean anything here (assume bought new, with original receipt in hand etc.)
