Corel PaintShop Pro x1

Okay a user has a Toshiba Laptop with 4GB RAM and a 320GB HDD dual core with all the bells and whistles. MsOffice etc.

User installs Corel PSP x1 and all other apps i.e. Word, Excel hangs. once he uninstalls the Corel. All is well again. Now he has another machine with XP on and is running just fine.

Any ideas?

You may want to check the anti virus I'd a similar issue on Vista with PSP X2 after I installed Norton 360 the PSP X2 didnt work (though CS4 was just fine ) and after some research found a patch to fix it.

All other apps, meaning office, or all apps?? Maybe its a plugin or some other integration with the office suite???
