Corel X13 Printing Problem

Anyone use Corel X3 here?

When I send a print to the printer on some ads, it takes forever to print, any idea how to fix this?

It doesn't do it on the one PC here that has Corel 11, actually the 2x PC's that have X3 have this problem so I am sure its a X3 problem.

Oh, i've applied service pack 1 & 2 to X3 and still I have the problem (prior to the service packs and after)

if you go into your printer what size is printing?

i use corel everyday and it only takes long when im working with a picture that 30 - 300 mb

have u tried printing the same document on corel 11?

i have x3 and things work exactly how they should, what sp you running?

im running sp2

1. Our documents are never more than 50MB.
2. I'm running SP2 as well.

It's random it seems, some ads, no pics or anything, will take forever to print and ads with lots of pics do the same thing, sometimes they go quick, sometimes they take forever.

Is it a CorelDraw 11 file that you're printing? Try re-save it as a 13 file and print.

We save all files in version 9.
Procedure we do is; do the ad, save it (as version 9), export it to .jpg and then print.
It's not SPECIFICALLY a version problem, I just think its a bug in X3.

why do you save it as 9?

i dont understand why u cannot make a jpeg from an x3 file?

We have to save it as 9 so the program we use to put our paper together can read the files... I don't know why it can't read version 13 files but whatever.

We can save JPG's using X3, we do that so people who don't have Adobe etc can view it (because EVERY PC has the ability to open a JPG)

My problem is, on some files (using X3) printing takes FOREVER and it's random so does anyone know how to fix this 'bug' in X3?
