Have you tried? Try set your goal posts lower than first world countries, seeing as they already have too many jobs for their own population already.

Why?

Most of those private hospitals are not equiped to dealt with Accidents and Emergencies. They are more like a nursing home than a hospital. Sure, they can do operations and such but won't have surgical teams on standby.

Harsh to say but if you get shot you want to be taken to a hospital where they are used to dealing with that sort of wound - like Baragwanath or Kalefong.

And having said that, it would be better to have not been shot in the first place. But we have a country full of scum that have no consideration for any other than themselves, a government that is corrupt in every area, and a police force that pats itself on the back when criminals run out of bullets.

Three men were arrested in the Oukasie informal settlement, near Brits, on Thursday, for the murder of former world heavyweight boxing champion Corrie Sanders, North West police said.

Police received a tip-off which led them to arrest two men around 10am, Brigadier Thulani Ngubane said.

At this address, police recovered a cellular phone, vehicle key, purse and cash believed to have been stolen during the robbery in which Sanders was shot on Saturday.

"Police then went to a second address and a third suspect was arrested," Ngubane said.

A handbag, also thought to have been stolen in the robbery, was recovered.

He said the men would appear in Brits Magistrate's Court on Monday.

They were Zimbabweans: one of 19-years-old and the other two of 20-years-old.

Just like the Muldersdrift case, get items of evidence and then there is not enough to do anything with it - That thought has just come to mind, I hope not though. Notice the racism against Zimbabwe in the information just to clear the "air" on the thoughts.

Why no weapon/s found, and surely there might be finger prints. I want the perps to go down and they must be had. Corrie was a great guy and a good golfer as well (a ringer of note).
 
Fourth Suspect in Corrie Sanders Case located in Zimbabwe

The Brits Magistrate's Court heard on Friday that a fourth suspect accused of murdering former world heavyweight boxing champion Corrie Sanders has been located in Zimbabwe, it was reported.

Advocate Matric Lephondo told the court the State believed the man would be able to help them locate the gun with which Sanders was shot, SABC radio news reported.

Lephondo reportedly told the court the State had contacted the relevant authorities to start negotiations to get the man and the firearm to South Africa.

He was speaking during an appearance by Zimbabweans Samuel Mabena, 27, Chris Moyo, 25, and Paida Fish, 19, on charges of murder and robbery with aggravating circumstances.

They were arrested in Oukasie informal settlement, near Brits, on September 27, after police received a tip-off.

At the address, police found a cellphone, a vehicle key, a purse and cash believed to have been stolen during the robbery in which Sanders was shot.

A handbag, also thought to have been stolen in the robbery, was recovered at a second address.

Sanders was shot at the Thatch Haven Country Lodge, outside Brits on September 22, while attending the 21st birthday party of his nephew.

Three men stormed in and demanded that customers lie on the floor and hand over their valuables. They opened fire while fleeing. Sanders was hit in the hand and abdomen. He died in the Kalafong Hospital, Pretoria, the next day.

He won the World Boxing Organisation's heavyweight title in March 2003 by dropping Ukrainian Wladimir Klitsckho in the second round in Hanover, Germany. He retired five years later.

The case against the three men was postponed to August. They remain in custody.

ACCUSED DENY BOXER'S MURDER: REPORT

Three Zimbabwean men accused of killing boxing champion Corrie Sanders have denied involvement in the crime, the Beeld reported on Friday.

Paida Fish, Chris Moyo and Samuel Mabena appeared in the High Court in Pretoria on Thursday.

They pleaded not guilty to several charges including murder, attempted murder, aggravated robbery, malicious damage to property, and unlawful possession of firearms and ammunition.

Sanders, 46, was shot killed in an armed robbery at a restaurant in Brits in September 2012. He later died in hospital.

Sanders was attending a birthday function at the time. Some guests were also robbed, and two vehicles were damaged.

Corrie was a customer of ours, used to come in and help him.

His ex-wife, Sunette, said he'd also been refused treatment at the Steve Biko Hospital in Pretoria because he was shot outside the Tshwane area.
