Corsa 1.6i Fan switch

There is a brown and the red/white wires at the fan connector, I think the brown could be ground, the one that was cut is most probably the red white. You can test for continuity between the relay and fan but since it was modified I think you could run an same sized wire from the relay to the fan, hopefully the ground was not touched.

Is it the old bakkie you have? Looks exactly like my Corsa hatch. I will check the fan wiring routing for you later.
Thanks a mil. It helps to always get a second opinion. The relays are just identical to yours. I think I'm sorted there now. As I said, I bought this bakkie with some issues I completely overhauled it including putting new crank and pistons and going to a bigger bore. The mechanical side sounds ok. I think I will need help on my acting MAP sensor ( green sensor at expansion tank ) once I have checked for vacuum leaks and sorted. The MAP sensor is a bit expensive to just replace without concreate evidence of problem.

What I have encountered on the map is the pipe that cracks continuously, I have cut it for the second time now, if it does it again it will be time for a new one, besides that the sensor itself is not a problem.

My Corsa is over 250k, the electronics I have ever replaced are the coil, multiple times, the throttle position sensor, had to go straight to GM for that, cost a pretty penny but has never given issues since.

Lately I had to replace the fuel pump relay.

I overhauled my corsa 1.6i engine ( c16se ), now I think the MAP sensor is now acting up. The engine sounds fine but the moment I connect this sensor it dies immediately. Today I went out and bought a new sensor and it does exactly the same. Confused now!!!
