Corsair 32GB flash drive

So I bought this Corsair 32GB flash drive a few days ago. Then all of a sudden, it just will not work at all. Does not seem to power up at all. Tried 4 different machines, anyone else have a similar problem?
 
Where'd you buy it? I bought a Kingston on this forum - and it ended up being fake - soon as I used more than a certain size - it died.

You mean MyBroadband's Classifieds? Oh my word, thought people here were still trustworthy up in here. Seems like the Gumtree and Junkmail oaks want to breed on MyBroadband and spread/infect this 'holy' forum.
 
My daughter bought a 8GB "Trancend" at the robot. It failed.When used all the files would transfer, you can then test, run, read and open them but as soon as you unplug the unit and plug it back in all or most the files are corrupt. Only small files may survive. Directories still show as Ok. Bottom line....R50.00 wasted. All reformatting and reflashing the unit helped nada!

Inside the Transcend fake was a 8Gb ST nand memory chip.

Well what would you expect from the robots, if it sounds to good to be true, its fake

Yeh - not MyBB fault though - a few guys had dealt with the seller and shared positive experiences.... but as soon as he had my cash and I tried to get hold of him about the flash drive, he was gone.

+1 for returning it - it's under warranty and should be replaced... otherwise get a refund and try elsewhere.
