I know this is a closed circuit unit, but Im wondering if its possible to replace the pipes with alternative piping? possible?

sorry i dont know much about water cooling :D

In short, no. Why? Cause its a closed system! How are you going to get the fluid back in once you've replaced the hoses? There is no reservoir for you to refill it with.

I'm also fairly certain its a Corsair product, not Coolermaster...

cool thanks for the info... quite right, sorry man its been a long short week! :(

Rather get a proper system up and running. The H50 is far too noisy, and thats meant to be one of the main advantages of water cooling - silence.

Believe it or not but you can actually mod the H50, though it will void your warranty.

So yes, it is possible to change the tubing AND you can change the RAD, add a reservoir etc BUT it will void warranty. Just Google a bit.

But then whats the point of getting it? The whole point is that its essentially plug and play without the need for mods.

So you buy this and then mod the shyte of out rendering it useless. Makes no sense to me why you would mod it, you are basically replacing every component :D.

The H50 is far too noisy,

dude mine is silent... dunno what you were listening to :p

I wanted to get into it slowly... so the plug n play option was nice for me. Now that I like it so much, I will go full hog next year sometime...

My bad, read a review of it somewhere and thats the one point that stuck with me. Also looking to go 100% water cooled next year, GPU, CPU and mobo. Gonna need a new case though :/
