Hey Guys, just checking you feedback...

How do you guys find having Cortana installed?

I like the quiet hours - not sure why it needs Cortana to work, should just be a normal service/tool.

1) Does it affect your store account and apps that can be used/installed/found... as you now in USA?

2) I don't like American spelling - seems you like something one has to live with?

3) Any other keyboard/language/region/spoken issues that crop up having it set to USA to get it to work?

4) How data hungry is Cortana - and its seems to be a bit of a lottery if she will do a Bing search or talk back to you?

I tried Cortana for a bit, I didn't like changing my regional settings so I went back to life without her (hopefully an official SA update will come soon, though the rollout seems a bit slow

1) It will affect your store listed store apps having your regional settings changed, I have a Windows phone app on the market place (that's specific to a South African product) and get reviews from users in the states.

2) I am not a fan of American spelling myself (it's colour for goodness sake) but being a dev I have the same issues in my IDE, it's something you can live with, you can also just add "custom" words to your dictionary of the correct spelling.

3) You can add back the UK keyboard and use that instead, I have US and GB keyboards installed, makes point 2 all but irrelevant.

4) I'm not sure, I'm almost positive they use a codec that will minimize the data usage of Cortana. It is a bit of a lottery, she's expecting you to speak in American, there will be a bunch of things she won't understand, hence why she's currently region locked.
