Cosatu slams SABC

The blame for costly legal proceedings and the settlement paid to former CEO Dali Mpofu must firmly be placed on the shoulders of the former SABC board, Cosatu said.

And who takes the brunt of this ... us, the taxpayers, of course and we have to pay for this mess through taxes and increased fees

Unless there is a dramatic turnaround, I get the horrible feeling this is going to be another case like the SAA.

What I don't get though is why there isn't any disciplining of the persons/parties responsible for getting SABC into this predicament? If I mess up at my place of work I stand to be disciplined or fired or have criminal proceedings brought against me, depending on the severity.

So why not here?
