Could it be a router issue - Telkom DGN2200

Ok, so I've been on various trial accounts, 1MB lines and 4MB lines. With varying port resets, line syncs and I constantly have line drops and bad speeds it seems. I thought it might be a ISP issue with Afrihost, however they have are quite good with coming back to me, and their clientzone application for line tweaking and status shows everything is good.

My SNR and attenuation are excellent. So people is it my crappy Telkom DGN2200 router?

Might be stupid but recently a client had similar issues.

Remember that you need a pots filter for every phone / fax / answering machine on your adsl line.
