I had a pain on the left side of my body around Thursday last week. It now seems to be localised on my right side lower abdomen now. It's not a sharp pain though, like a dull pain that seems to have migrated somehow from the left to the right.

2 things that don't add up:

1. It's not as earth moving as people who had appendicitis says it should be.
2. The duration. (People are saying it's normally about 24 hours and you crawl from the pain...

Just want to know if it's worth the effort of going to the Hospital or should I just leave it and see what happens?

Get it checked out, last thing you want is to find out you have septicaemia.

If the pain has been there for a few days I'd go to the doc and get it checked out. Never mess around with your health.

That sounds awful :shiver:

Guess I'll just go to check it out then. It would be a damn train wreck. We flying to the UK on the 23rd of September...

Go see a doctor. Do you really want medical advice from a forum?

Not advice no. Asking if it's really something to worry about. Wife says I should go NOW. I just feel like it's not an issue. Maybe just a few shytes behind (Eventhough I'm a regular guy :D)

That's probably why I'm scared of going subconsciously... I don't want to move or cancel. Maybe with the rand the way it is it might be a blessing :D

Laparoscopic appendectomy, you'll be on your feet the next day.

Don't try to get medical advice on the internet, and don't try to diagnose yourself on the internet. Especially the latter, you'll Google a rash and find out you have cancer, AIDS, herpes, tumors, ADHD, TB, genital warts, pneumonia and a bunch of other unwanted diseases and conditions.

Nothing is ever an issue until it becomes an issue, prevention is better than cure.

Probably just gas but for an odd R350 bucks, be safe and get a doctor to tell you that rather than the internet.
